Welcome to Biala Roza Restaurant. You are in the very heart of Krakow Old Town. The Wawel Castle, Main Market Square and the Planty Park are the main symbols of Krakow and make up our closest surroundings. Krakow, with its long and rich history can also boast of its great culinary tradition. We identify with it and draw inspiration from it .

In our pots we mix old recipes passed down from generation to generation, with new knowledge and experience that we gain every day. We like to experiment and enjoy making the best of new opportunities. To this we add hard work, passion and commitment. This is how our dishes and the character of Biala Roza Restaurant are created.  All of our work we dedicate to the people of Krakow, who love their city’s aura, as well as tourists who wish to touch and taste the unique atmosphere of the city.
In our selection of products we consistently focus on seasonality, finding produce from cultivation in our close vicinity, breeding ethics and above all, high quality.

Urszula Kania – the owner

Educated within the field of humanities, a passionate restaurateur with many years of experience. Biała Róża was created out of respect for tradition and the achievements of past generations. My dream of a meeting place where time slows down while tradition, culture and culinary art are most cherished, came true in the form of this restaurant. Excellent food, good wine, a welcoming atmosphere, a scent of Kraków culture, artistic flare – they all permeate one another. This takes you into the world of timeless values: beauty, honesty, and mutual respect. In Biała Róża, we do not serve people, we host them, pamper and surround with a homely atmosphere. My son, Jarosław, supports me in the everyday duties of running the restaurant.

Łukasz Cichy – the Chef at Biała Róża

A young, extremely talented and ambitious cook and culinary artist. He learnt the culinary art from the most famous and valued Polish chefs: Adam Chrząstowski, Andrzej Polan, Robert Sowa. A unique combination of passion and love for cooking with knowledge, experience and modesty within a single person. He seeks tastes, hunts for flavours and discovers old recipes. His cooking combines the traditional with the modern. While cooking, Łukasz always puts the ingredients first – a habit he cultivated at home, a family farm near Krakow, where he came across culinary traditions of the Małopolska region for the first time and where he experienced top quality self-farmed products.
A finalist of national and international culinary contests. His latest achievements include the 1st place in the L’art de la cuisine Martell 2012 national competition for young talented chefs and a nomination for the Kulinarny Puchar Polski award. Łukasz leads a great team of experienced and talented cooks, most of whom have been cooperating with Biała Róża since its inception.
