Łukasz Cichy – Head Chef at Biała Róża
A young, extremely talented and ambitious cook and culinary artist. He learnt the culinary art from the most famous and valued Polish chefs: Adam Chrząstowski, Andrzej Polan, Robert Sowa. A unique combination of passion and love for cooking with knowledge, experience and modesty within a single person. He seeks tastes, hunts for flavours and discovers old recipes. His cooking combines the traditional with the modern. While cooking, Łukasz always puts the ingredients first – a habit he cultivated at home, a family farm near Krakow, where he came across culinary traditions of the Małopolska region for the first time and where he experienced top quality self-farmed products.
A finalist of national and international culinary contests. His latest achievements include the 1st place in the L’art de la cuisine Martell 2012 national competition for young talented chefs and a nomination for the Kulinarny Puchar Polski award. Łukasz leads a great team of experienced and talented cooks, most of whom have been cooperating with Biała Róża since its inception.
